Anyway, I was getting frustrated that I couldn't find any online bike maps that cover Longmont.  I quickly found the official <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ci.longmont.co.us\/planning\/maps\/\">City of Longmont Maps page<\/a> &#8212; although they talk about bike maps, none are available online from the city website.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 3em;\"><em><strong>Updated Aug 12:<\/strong><\/em> In the comments, Pete points to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bicyclelongmont.org\/\">BicycleLongmont.org<\/a> which contains a <strong><a title=\"1.1 MB from BicycleLongmont.org\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bicyclelongmont.org\/bike_map_2008.pdf\">2008 front (pdf)<\/a><\/strong> side of the map.  You'll still need to use the <em>Wayback Machine<\/em> for the cached back-side (see below) which includes helpful info, like which parks have drinking fountains and restrooms.<\/div>\n<p>Thanks to the <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.archive.org\/web\/web.php\">Wayback Machine<\/a><\/em>, I found a <a title=\"3 Feb 2007 cached at archive.org\" href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20070203220749\/http:\/\/www.ci.longmont.co.us\/planning\/maps\/\">Feb 2007 cached version<\/a> of the City of Longmont page, which had links for bike maps as of 2006.  Even better, the <em>Wayback Machine<\/em> actually cached both these PDFs:<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-left: 3em;\"><strong>City of Longmont Bicycle Map 2006, <\/strong><a title=\"1.2 MB map\" href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20070203220749\/http:\/\/www.ci.longmont.co.us\/planning\/maps\/bikemap_front_06.pdf\">front (pdf)<\/a><strong> and <a title=\"400 KB map\" href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20070203220749\/http:\/\/www.ci.longmont.co.us\/planning\/maps\/bikemap_back_06.pdf\">back (pdf)<\/a><\/strong><\/div>\n<p>As for other Boulder-area bike maps, the ones I like the best are the <a title=\"1.7 MB\" href=\"http:\/\/www.36commutingsolutions.org\/linked_documents\/West-2006.pdf\"><strong>2006 Highway 36 West corridor map<\/strong> (pdf)<\/a>, from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.36commutingsolutions.org\/bike.htm\">Bicycle or Walk section<\/a> at 36commutingSolutions.org site, and the maps at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bouldercolorado.gov\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=8839&amp;Itemid=2976\">City of Boulder's <strong>bike section<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Did I mention that I've recently moved to Longmont, CO (near Boulder)?
