Here are three things I've thought about recently:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Microchip designers often <a href=\"http:\/\/micro.magnet.fsu.edu\/creatures\/\">embed microscopic messages<\/a> on the surface of the chip as a way of signing their work.<\/li>\n<li>DNA has a lot of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Junk_DNA\" title=\"Wikipedia entry\">\"junk\" parts<\/a> that don't seem to have any function.<\/li>\n<li>A lot of people think evolution is obviously <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Intelligent_design\" title=\"Wikipedia entry on Intelligent Design\">\"designed\" by someone<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I wonder if any cryptographers have looked at that junk DNA to see if it's a message from the designer. I'm guessing that it's a code that says something like, \"I am Kaloopah, from the star system Nebulon IV.
