The EFF has updated their "unintended consequences of the DMCA" document to cover events that happened in 2002.
Until DMCA gets repealed or heavily modified, I hope that EFF publishes one of these every year. Eventually it will become obvious how ridiculously vague the DMCA really is.
BTW, EFF is being charitable about the phrase "unintended consequences". These issues probably were unintended by the legislators who signed the law, but they were on purpose by the entertainment industry lobbyists who pushed the current form of the law.
